HPS air suspensions are not just for show and cannot be compared to the hydraulic lifting suspension used in low riders in the US. HPS Airride Systems were developed by HPS suspension engineers for everyday performance driving and have been extensively tested for this: In 1997, a fully functioning system secretly performed a 100,000 km test – a perfect success.
